There is more to death and dying than grief and bereavement. Death education explores the many layers of this human experience and is guaranteed to improve your communication with clients, patients, students and personal relationships. If you only focus on one aspect of death, it is much harder to accept, understand and respond appropriately to others in their moment of loss. Furthermore, ignoring the social and cultural aspects of death and dying makes it much more difficult to prepare yourself and those you love for their futures. Death is inevitable, but need not be so feared we never discuss it with love and compassion. In this regard, it can be a rewarding and moving conversation to have.

Dr Wester will be teaching a new set of classes on Death Education for Health & Wellbeing in Oswestry at the QUBE in 2017. This full-day class is comprehensive, interactive and engaging; and includes a workbook, lunch, course certificate and Good Grief Pin. For more details contact us with the subject line: DE Course.
