Facing Death

The prognosis is life threatening—what next?


This class will look at:

  • How to talk to your healthcare provider about end of life care
  • What is an Advanced Directive–is it needed?
  • Stories from a Cancer Survivor
  • How making the right preparations can minimize stress and trauma

This two-and-half-hour class can be booked across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and will run in a variety of venues across Shropshire. Please ask when booking.

Locations of classes are subject to change depending on the location of participants. We do our best to book a venue nearest the group attending the classes. So let us know where you would like to have a class.


Dr Judith Wester, our resident expert on death education, will teach this highly interesting class on death, along with input from cancer survivors and healthcare professionals in the field of palliative care talking openly and honestly.

How Much?

£40.00 concession and £45.00 for all others.

Whilst the organisation will not make a profit, we have kept the fees for these classes as low as possible in order to cover the overhead costs, refreshments and any special speakers we organise. Additional donations are gratefully accepted.
