Introduction to Death Education

Our one-hour introduction to death education talk gently takes the participant into the wider world of death. This class will:

  • Explain what death education is and why it matters
    • Why examine death?
    • What does death education consist of?
  • Discuss who benefits from death education
  • Explore why talking about death is important within the communities in which we live.

Individuals pay £12.00 concession and £15.00 for all others.

We offer this class free to charities and community groups around Shropshire and further afield (travel expenses may apply) on a limited quarterly basis; so book early to avoid disappointment. Venues vary depending on the group and where they are located. Additional donations are gratefully accepted.

We request a £100.00 donation to CEDAR CIC from other organisations with large groups to help us with our key projects such as Life Lessons and our charity work. These talks will include longer question and answer periods for training purposes.

Look for this lesson online in the Spring of 2015.

We have a wonderful group of highly trained instructors who deliver our classes; all of whom are certified to teach. We also have policies for working with vulnerable adults and safeguarding children.
